Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job Description
The Quality Inspector coordinates and performs a wide range of quality activities with a primary focus on assembly inspections. This role ensures products meet type design and print requirements, supports root cause and corrective action efforts, and manages quality documentation such as First Article Inspections (FAIs) and Nonconformance Reports (NCRs). The Quality Inspector works closely with internal customers and cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment to resolve quality issues and maintain high standards of product integrity.

Work Environment
This role is based in a manufacturing environment within a dedicated Quality Department. The position involves working on the shop floor and in inspection areas, handling precision sheet metal and machined parts. The work requires occasional lifting and moving of items up to 50 pounds. Visual requirements include close and distance vision, the ability to adjust focus, and the ability to distinguish colors to accurately inspect parts and materials. While performing job duties, you may occasionally be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals typical of a manufacturing setting. The role makes regular use of precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection equipment, and may involve interaction with systems like CMMs and Faro Arms. The environment emphasizes adherence to quality standards and procedures, with structured processes and documentation supporting AS9100 and AS9102 requirements. No specific certificates, medical monitoring, or specialized personal protective equipment are required beyond standard manufacturing practices
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, KS.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
