Industrial Maintenance Technician
Location: 77061
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: $22.00/hour
ProLogistix is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a facility in the 77061 area. We are seeking a mechanically inclined professional with maintenance experience to support equipment reliability, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance programs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and facility equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and PLC-controlled systems
- Install, align, dismantle, and relocate industrial equipment and conveyors
- Operate welding equipment, hand tools, and power tools
- Lubricate, clean, and maintain machinery
- Perform general building maintenance
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Report safety concerns and complete additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Millwright Certificate required
- 2-3 years of industrial maintenance or automotive mechanic experience
- Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
- Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment
- Knowledge of conveyors, PLCs, welding equipment, packaging machinery, and power tools
- Forklift, Skyjack, Fall Arrest, and CWB certifications preferred
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work at heights, and in confined spaces
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
