We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in a hospital setting. The RN will use the nursing process to assess patients, administer treatments, coordinate care, and support safe discharge planning.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide age-appropriate nursing care.
- Administer medications and treatments according to hospital policies.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in status.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment and discharge plans.
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record.
- Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Delegate appropriate tasks to other care team members.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of hospital nursing experience.
- BSN required.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Active Minnesota RN license.
- BCLS/BLS required within 30 days of hire.
- PALS required.
- ACLS, NRP, and TNCC required within the specified timeframe after hire.
- Strong assessment, communication, and clinical decision-making skills.
