Job Title: Material Handler

Shift: Day Shift, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Occasional overtime and weekends as needed)
Pay Rate: Up to $30.00/hr
Overview
We are seeking a proactive, dependable Material Handler to join our team in Pleasanton, CA. In this role, you will be an integral part of our daily operationsmanaging shipping and receiving, maintaining strict inventory accuracy, and ensuring our manufacturing and cleanroom teams have the materials they need to produce innovative medical devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process and ship customer orders in accordance with company shipping policies. Unload incoming freight, verify shipments against purchase orders, log deliveries, and distribute packages to designated departments.
- Identify, label, and stage inventory in assigned storage bins/locations. Perform regular cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventory reconciliations.
- Pull, verify, and record raw materials and components needed for active manufacturing lines and cleanroom assembly.
- Safely operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transfer materials.
- Drive to and from off-site warehouse locations to pick up or transfer materials as required.
- Monitor cleanroom consumable stock levels, submit replenishment requisitions to Purchasing, and assemble warehouse storage racking as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 3–5 years of hands-on warehouse, inventory, or material handling experience (medical device or regulated manufacturing experience preferred).
- Certifications & Licensing:
- Valid California Driver’s License with a clean, safe driving record (required for off-site warehouse transfers).
- Valid Forklift Certification.
- Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP software, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to follow written standard operating procedures (SOPs), perform work independently with minimal supervision, and maintain high attention to detail.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
- Capacity to regularly lift, push, and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and maneuver throughout a warehouse/production environment for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with availability for occasional overtime and weekend shifts when production requires.
- Compliance with applicable county, state, and federal vaccination guidelines.
