Accounts Receivable Specialist

Established, dynamic, rapidly growing Mechanical Contractor has an opportunity for you to use your Accounts Receivable expertise to contribute to the strategic expansion of this organization.

You will be responsible for follow-ups, posting, matching, and reviewing balances, recording payments and contacting customers as needed. You will follow up with any discrepancies, making appropriate corrections with your supervisor’s concurrence.

If you have experience with Accounts Receivable and a strong working knowledge of ServiceTitan, QuickBooks or a related accounting software system within an office environment that enjoys a team environment that prides itself on providing excellent customer service and quality work, you may qualify for this position.

Essential Responsibilities

· Processing AR and collections activities

· Maintain compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws and regulations

· Ensure that the administrative and data entry functions are accurately completed

· Contact with customers to adhere to AR processing and collect timely payments

· Advanced excel understanding & expertise

· Data entry, filing & ability to be very organized

· Other functions as directed by supervisor

Essential Qualifications

· Two (2) plus years of A/R experience and Macola or QuickBooks Expertise

· Experience with reconciliations

· Generalist experience with administrative and clerical duties

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Strong Communication skills both written and verbal and computer experience

· Project a professional image through dress, behavior and attitude

· Must be organized and self-motivated and work independently with little supervision

· High School Diploma required; associate’s degree in accounting or related field preferred
