Agee Business Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Bookkeeping Supervisor / Quality Control professional to join our accounting team in Canyon Lake, CA.
This is a hands-on supervisory position combining bookkeeping quality control, staff support and training, workflow oversight, process improvement, and direct responsibility for a smaller portfolio of bookkeeping clients.
We are looking for someone who can not only perform high-quality bookkeeping themselves, but also recognize accounting issues, review the work of others, identify recurring problems, improve processes, and help ensure client books are accurate, complete, consistent, and ready for financial reporting and tax preparation.
Position SummaryThe Bookkeeping Supervisor will provide technical oversight and quality control for the firm's bookkeeping department while also maintaining an assigned portfolio of client accounts.
This position will review completed bookkeeping, identify errors and unusual balances, provide clear feedback to bookkeepers, assist with complex accounting issues, monitor workflow and outstanding items, and help develop procedures that improve accuracy and efficiency across the department.
Our clients range from smaller businesses with straightforward bookkeeping needs to medium and larger businesses with more complex accounting activity, including multiple entities, high transaction volumes, loans, payroll, intercompany activity, multiple sales platforms, payment processors, clearing accounts, and e-commerce activity.
The ideal candidate is an experienced, technically strong bookkeeper who naturally notices when something doesn't look right, enjoys solving accounting problems, and can help other bookkeepers improve without simply taking their work over.
