Retail Store Associate – Used Electronics (Full Time)

ReUse IT is a veteran-owned electronics resale store specializing in quality used laptops, PCs, phones, tablets, monitors, and AV equipment. We are hiring a Full-Time Retail Store Associate with enough technical knowledge to perform basic testing and evaluation of consumer electronics, while also supporting customers and ensuring inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and complete sales using Square POS

• Perform basic functional testing on laptops, desktops, phones, and tablets

Power-on checks, screen/keyboard inspection, ports, basic OS boot, and condition grading

• Accurately receive, tag, and stock electronics and accessories

• Maintain accurate inventory (all items must be tracked correctly)

• Identify damaged, incomplete, or non-sellable items and follow procedures

• Keep the store clean, organized, and professionally merchandised

Requirements

• Basic technical knowledge of computers and mobile devices

• Ability to identify major hardware issues vs. sellable condition

• Retail or customer service experience preferred

• Comfortable using computers and POS systems

• Strong attention to detail and reliability

• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods

• Availability to work Saturdays 2–3 times per month (required)

• Integrity and accountability are required

Schedule & Pay

• Full-Time (40 hours/week)

• Store is open Tuesday through Friday (9am-6pm) and Saturdays (9am-4pm)

Nice to Have

• Experience testing or refurbishing used electronics

• Familiarity with Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices

• Square POS experience

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
