Accounting Manager

About the Role:

The Accounting Manager will oversee and manage the full spectrum of accounting operations to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory standards. This role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity of financial data through meticulous bank reconciliations, general ledger management, and balance sheet oversight. The Accounting Manager will lead the implementation and optimization of accounting systems to streamline processes and enhance reporting accuracy. Ultimately, this position ensures that all accounting functions are executed in accordance with established accounting principles and company policies, contributing to the financial health and transparency of the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years accounting experience,
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and full cycle accounting processes.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and software relevant to the industry.
• Demonstrated experience with bank reconciliations, general ledger management, and balance sheet preparation.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Daily Invoicing
• Prepare, review, and analyze balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate and support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external auditors to facilitate audits and resolve accounting issues.
• Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other regulatory requirements.

Skills:

The required skills such as bank reconciliation, general ledger management, and balance sheet preparation are essential for maintaining accurate and compliant financial records on a daily basis. Proficiency in accounting systems enables the Accounting Manager to efficiently process transactions and generate timely reports.
