The Security Guard will help protect a residential community and industrial site during primarily overnight shifts. Reporting to the Security Supervisor, this role will monitor assigned areas, support a safe environment, respond to incidents and alarms, and maintain contact with law enforcement when incidents require it.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patrols of residential and industrial areas.
- Monitor for safety, security, and access concerns.
- Screen visitors and help manage site entry.
- Respond promptly to alarms and security incidents.
- Prepare accurate security and incident reports.
- Manage crowds and help maintain orderly conditions.
- Coordinate with law enforcement during incident-based contacts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Security or law enforcement experience is preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- State security guard license is preferred but not required.
- Incident reporting skills.
- Conflict-resolution skills.
- Strong observation and situational-awareness skills.
- Clear verbal communication skills.
