Regular Schedule: Friday through Monday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a 60-minute unpaid lunch
Home Property: SandyPlace Apartments will serve as the initial home property and primary reporting location. Because this is a traveling position, assignments will include other Stratum communities. The designated home property may change based on business and operational needs.
Additional Availability: Must be available to work weekends and have flexibility to work alternative days or varying schedules based on operational and property coverage needs.
Compensation: $27 - $30/ hr

We're looking for a confident, experienced, and upbeat Roving Assistant Manager who enjoys stepping into new environments, building connections, and helping teams succeed. In this role, you'll get to work at different Stratum communities, partner with a variety of onsite teams, and use your experience to help wherever support is needed most. No two assignments will be exactly the same, giving you the opportunity to keep learning, build experience across multiple properties, and make a visible impact on both team operations and the resident experience.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Roving Operational Support
· Travel between assigned properties, connect with different teams, and provide support based on staffing and operational needs.
· Quickly integrate into onsite teams and help maintain continuity of daily operations.
· Adjust priorities and responsibilities based on the needs of each community.
· Provide coverage for Leasing Agent and Assistant Manager responsibilities as assigned.
Leasing, Administrative, and Financial Support
· Greet prospective residents, conduct tours, and provide accurate community information.
· Process applications, renewals, resident documentation, and other leasing activity.
· Assist with rent collection, payment posting, deposits, delinquency follow-up, and required reporting.
· Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential resident files and operational documentation.
Resident and Property Support
· Respond professionally and promptly to resident questions and concerns.
· Coordinate with maintenance team members and vendors to help resolve issues.
· Inspect vacant units, model units, and common areas and support overall property appearance.
· Help onsite teams remain organized, compliant, and responsive to community needs.
· Assist with after-hours or emergency situations when assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Required Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Six to twelve months of property management experience.
· Previous leasing and Assistant Manager experience.
· Customer service experience.
· Basic knowledge of Fair Housing requirements and property management operations.
· Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
· Ability to adapt quickly to different properties, team environments, workflows, and priorities.
· Ability to work independently while maintaining consistent communication and responsiveness.
· A current and valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, proof of auto insurance, and an acceptable driving record are required.
· Ability to travel frequently between assigned properties and work the designated schedule, including assigned weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with Yardi, Entrata, or similar property management software.
· Experience supporting multiple properties or providing coverage during staffing transitions.
· Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position combines office work with regular activity throughout apartment communities and frequent travel between assigned properties. The role requires extended computer and phone use; sitting, standing, walking, reaching, stooping, and repetitive hand and wrist movements; walking property grounds; using stairs; conducting apartment and community tours; inspecting units and common areas; and lifting or carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds as needed. Work may be performed indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
