We are seeking an Accountant to support general ledger management, financial reporting, tax preparation and compliance, payroll processing, and accurate financial recordkeeping. Reporting to the Owner, this role will use QuickBooks, TR Ultra Tax, and Microsoft Excel and offers a growth path toward Senior Accountant and Controller-track opportunities. We are looking either for a candidate with accounting experience or somebody who has graduated with an accounting degree.
Responsibilities
- Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger records.
- Prepare financial reports and support ongoing financial recordkeeping.
- Prepare tax filings and support tax compliance activities.
- Process payroll accurately and on schedule.
- Use QuickBooks, TR Ultra Tax, and Microsoft Excel to complete accounting activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two or more years of accounting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks.
- Experience with tax compliance.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
