This Laboratory and Field Investigator role offers a rare entry point into forensic engineering, supporting elite testifying experts by uncovering the mechanics of complex incidents.
Job Summary:The Laboratory and Field Investigator supports our testifying experts (engineers, architects, fire investigators, and accident reconstructionists) by performing scene documentation, photography, measurements, laser scans, Event Data Recorder (EDR/”Black Box”) data extraction, as well as preparing and processing scene data and available evidence for analysis performed by our experts. This position offers a unique entry point for a new Engineer-In-Training (E.I.T.) The position provides exceptional mentorship, skill development, case variety and a clear pathway toward accumulating the necessary experience satisfying the requirements for the Professional Engineering Exam.
