Experience
Must have at least one (1) year experience in a clerical position or successfullycompleteda secretarial science program from an accredited school/college.
Specific Requirements
Must be able to read, write,speakand understand the English language.
Mustpossessthe ability to make independent decisions when circumstanceswarrantsuch action and to remain calm during emergency situations.
Mustpossessthe ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members,visitorsand thegeneral public.
Must be knowledgeable of administrative practices,proceduresand guidelines.
Mustpossessa cheerful personality and be able to work harmoniously with other personnel.
Mustpossessthe ability to minimizewasterof supplies, misuse of equipment, etc.
Mustpossessthe ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices.
Mustbe able to follow written and oral instructions.
Must be competent with word processing,emailand spreadsheet applications (e.g., Microsoft Office or equivalent).
Physical and Sensory Requirements(with or without the aid of mechanical devices)
Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.
Must be able to speak and write English language in an understandable manner.
Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
Mustpossesssight/hearing senses or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of this facility which includea medicaland physical examination.
Must function independently, have flexibility, personalintegrityand the ability to work effectively with other personnel.
Musthave a pleasant speaking voice.
Must be able to push, pull,moveand/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull,moveand/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet.
May be necessary toassistintheevacuation of residents during emergency situations.
