Job Description

Join a dynamic company that specializes in renting out and manufacturing centrifuges for the oil and gas industry, as well as other sectors. You will be an essential part of our team, working on gearboxes and mechanical assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Take apart gearboxes for inspections and reassemble them.
• Perform mechanical assembly tasks.
• Utilize both metric and standard tools effectively.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in taking apart, inspecting, and assembling gearboxes.
• Familiarity with circles, bearings, and gears.
• Proficiency in using standard and metric tools, including sockets and wrenches.
• Experience with transmission assembly and bearing journals.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in the oilfield or with directional tools/top drive is highly advantageous.

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate controlled environment from Monday to Thursday, 6am to 5pm, with some potential overtime on Fridays. You will be informed in advance about any overtime. Please bring your own tools, such as sockets and wrenches.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Conroe, TX.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Conroe,TX.
