Title: Fluidics Engineering III
Location: Atlanta GA USA 30313
Duration: 18 months Contract
Pay rate: $40.00/hr.

Onsite 5 days/week, no WFH 40 hours/week
We are seeking a Fluidics Test Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and validation of fluidic systems used in foodservice and beverage equipment. This role works closely with Fluidics Engineers and cross-functional teams to build, test, troubleshoot, and document fluidic and thermal systems throughout the product development lifecycle. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in laboratory environments to support world-class product development and launch activities within a structured stage-gate process.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain fluidic and electromechanical systems for engineering evaluation and testing.
• Conduct laboratory and bench testing on components and systems related to fluid flow, thermal performance, controls, and reliability.
• Support engineers in troubleshooting hardware, control systems, and software-related issues through structured testing and data collection.
• Set up and operate laboratory instrumentation including pumps, sensors, pressure transducers, flow meters, thermal measurement devices, and data acquisition systems.
• Collect, document, and organize test data, and assist with preparation of test reports and engineering documentation.
• Support quality and reliability activities including test setup, Design of Experiments (DOE) execution, and validation testing.
• Assist with prototype fabrication, modification, plumbing, tubing layout, wiring, and fixture development.
• Maintain laboratory spaces, test equipment, tools, calibration records, and inventory of components and consumables.
• Collaborate with engineering, software, electrical, and quality teams to support product development and issue resolution.
• Demonstrate and promote safe work practices, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology (BSMET), Electrical Engineering Technology (BSEET), Mechanical Engineering (BSME), Mechatronics, or equivalent experience as a Test Engineer.
• Understanding of test methods and sources of error.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical, fluidic, thermal, or electromechanical systems.
• Familiarity with laboratory testing practices, instrumentation, and data collection methods.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, tubing diagrams, and assembly instructions.
Basic understanding of:
o Fluid systems
o Thermodynamics and heat transfer
o Electrical and electromechanical systems
o Mechanical assembly and troubleshooting
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and testing activities.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with standard computer tools such as Microsoft Office and data recording systems.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting engineering development or product testing in foodservice, beverage, HVAC, automotive, medical device, or industrial equipment industries.
Familiarity with:
o LabVIEW, MATLAB, or Python-based test environments
o Data acquisition systems and electronic instrumentation
• Experience with plumbing systems, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, or refrigeration
