Job Purpose: Under continuous supervision of the Department Supervisor and manager this is an in-training capacity to determine suitability for Pension work. This role requires the ability to understand the retirement plan provisions and rules to determine participants eligibility status, retirement, disability, and death benefits. It also requires the ability to perform all necessary clerical functions including but not limited to processing retirement benefits. One must be able to organize, set priorities, work both independently and in a group to complete monthly and project-based duties within the established deadlines. Proficient written and verbal skills are a must.
