Position Summary
Operate advanced CNC machining equipment, including Swiss-style and Mill/Turn lathes, to manufacture precision components while ensuring safety, quality, and production goals are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines and monitor production output
- Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and GD&T requirements
- Troubleshoot basic machining or quality issues and communicate concerns to leadership
- Maintain quality standards and follow established manufacturing procedures
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Complete accurate production documentation as required
- Collaborate with team members to support efficient production flow
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of CNC machining experience
- Experience operating CNC lathes or Swiss-style machines preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measurement equipment
- Understanding of GD&T principles
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
Preferred Experience
- Swiss machining or multi-axis machining experience
- Aerospace, medical device, or other precision manufacturing backgrounds
- Experience working in high-volume production environments
