Beechwood Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to oversee nursing operations and provide leadership and support to our nursing staff. The RN Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of resident care, regulatory compliance, and effective coordination of services during assigned shifts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise and support nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
Ensure quality resident care is delivered in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
Assess resident conditions and oversee implementation of care plans.
Respond to resident, family, and staff concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Monitor staffing levels and assist with scheduling and assignments as needed.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
Investigate and document incidents, accidents, and resident concerns.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote positive resident outcomes.
Participate in infection control, quality assurance, and performance improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate documentation and electronic medical records.
Qualifications:
Current Connecticut Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
Minimum of 1-2 years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of state and federal nursing home regulations.
