About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cook to prepare and serve a variety of menu items to our patients, visitors, and staff. As a member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards, while maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a wide range of menu items, including entrees, sides, and desserts
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all safety and sanitation standards
• Assist with meal planning, ordering, and inventory management
• Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure that all patient dietary needs are met
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff
• Maintain accurate records and reports, including food temperatures and inventory levels

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a Cook or in a related food service role
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift, bend, and move heavy objects
