We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys through all phases of civil litigation in an on-site role in Fort Worth, TX. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of law firm experience, strong litigation support skills, and the ability to manage complex case files, discovery, deadlines, and trial preparation with accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Support attorneys throughout all phases of civil litigation.
Draft, format, organize, and proofread pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
Manage litigation case files, calendars, deadlines, and discovery materials.
Prepare, organize, summarize, and analyze case documents and evidence.
Conduct legal research using online research tools and legal databases.
Assist with discovery responses and document review.
Prepare for hearings and trials, including exhibit lists, witness files, and court filings.
Coordinate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other parties.
Track litigation deadlines and ensure timely completion of case-related tasks.
Review documents for accuracy, relevance, and completeness.
Maintain compliance with firm procedures and court requirements.
Handle confidential client and case information professionally.
Collaborate closely with attorneys and other legal professionals.
Qualifications
3-5 years of law firm experience required.
Prior experience as a litigation paralegal strongly preferred.
Experience supporting civil litigation matters.
Strong legal document preparation skills, including pleadings and motions.
Proficiency in document review, organization, summarization, and analysis.
Strong legal research skills and familiarity with online legal research databases.
Experience managing litigation files, calendars, discovery, and trial preparation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
Ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys and legal teams.
Associate's or bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate from an accredited program preferred.
