Enrollment Manager

Job Summary and Scope of Responsibility:
Bernard Zell Anshe Emet Day School is seeking a dynamic, engaging, and passionate Enrollment Manager to lead prospective family experiences and oversee student recruitment initiatives. The ideal candidate is a high-energy, detail-oriented professional with exceptional communication skills and a deep commitment to connecting with applicant families, managing parent ambassadors, and executing impactful admissions programming.

• Serve as a point of contact for prospective and applicant families, maintaining clear, responsive, and welcoming communication throughout the entire enrollment lifecycle.
• Lead campus tours for prospective families, showcasing the school’s academic programs, faculty, facility, and community culture.
• Manage applicant tracking and data entry within the admissions database to ensure accurate records for all prospective families.
• Support all stages of the prospective family application process from initial inquiry to final enrollment.
• Gather and review admissions data, family feedback, and conversion metrics to assist in refining recruitment initiatives and improving family engagement.

Event Planning & Execution

• Plan, coordinate, and execute all core admissions events, including Open Houses, yield event, the New Student Welcome Concert, and orientation programs.
• Oversee all event logistics, vendor contracting, programming content, registration tracking, and day-of execution.
• Collaborate with the Early Childhood team to organize pipeline opportunities such as the jBaby program.

Ambassador Programs & Outreach

• Manage the Parent Ambassador program to engage prospective families and foster community connections.
• Support the Madrichim (Student Ambassador) program for 7th and 8th grade students, facilitating meetings, training students, and assigning and managing ambassadors during tours and events.
• Coordinate with the Marketing team to supply timely admissions event details and content for print and electronic media.

Other duties as assigned in support of the greater school community.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• 2-5 years of experience in non-profit organizations preferred
• Experience in an education setting preferred
• Experience with project management and taking projects from concept to completion

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with multiple constituencies
• Comfort and facility with public speaking and presenting in front of large groups
• Strong customer service ethic and exceptional judgment
• Results-oriented and able to effectively prioritize work in a dynamic environment
• Extremely detail-oriented with a strong attention to follow-through
• Knowledge of Jewish community, culture, heritage, and traditions
• Must have the ability to travel around the Chicago community
• Proficient in all Google Suite products

Compensation: Bernard Zell offers competitive compensation, excellent benefits, and a supportive workplace culture. The salary range for this position is $62,000-$70,000.
