Assistant Manager (Bar Focus) – Gigglewaters Social Club & Screening Room

Today, Gigglewaters Social Club & Screening Room brings that speakeasy spirit to downtown Safety Harbor: a full-service restaurant, craft cocktail bar and intimate classic-movie screening room, all under one tin ceiling. We're award-winning, locally and family owned, and growing.
We're looking for an Assistant Manager who loves a great bar program and can run the whole house with equal confidence.
What You'll Do
- Lead the bar: cocktail quality and consistency, bartender training, inventory, ordering, pour cost and liquor controls
- Share full responsibility for daily operations across the dining room, kitchen, patio and screening room
- Run shifts from open to close: staffing, floor management, guest recovery and cash handling
- Coordinate screening room service, private rentals and special events like our Cinema Supper Series
- Help hire, train, schedule and develop a high-energy hospitality team
- Support the GM with labor and cost management, vendor relationships, and health and safety compliance
- Keep systems, checklists and paperwork organized so every shift runs smoothly
What You Bring
- At least 2 years of full restaurant management or leadership experience, front and back of house
- Strong bar knowledge: craft cocktails, spirits, beer and wine, bar inventory and cost control
- Exceptional organizational skills. On any given night we might have the restaurant, the bar, the screening room and a community event all running at once. You keep every moving piece on track, including the schedule, the order sheets and the details in between.
- Calm, hands-on leadership in a busy, guest-facing environment
- Open availability, including nights, weekends and holidays
- Food safety and responsible alcohol service certifications (or ability to obtain)
