Description:
Numo is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Financial Platform team, responsible for invoicing, payment, and settlement infrastructure serving our partner network the merchants who fund offers and the banks who distribute them to cardholders.
There are many interesting problems ahead including payment matching, tiered billing, partner self-service portals, at-a-glance metrics, and reconciliation.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python and FastAPI
- Develop and optimize SQL against a Snowflake data warehouse, including schema design and complex query authoring
- Participate in infrastructure changes (Terraform/Terragrunt) required to support new features
- Collaborate with frontend and platform stakeholders to deliver features end-to-end
- Contribute to the design and implementation of billing and settlement logic
Requirements:
- Demonstrated professional experience with Python, including API development
- Strong SQL skills, including experience with modern cloud data warehouses (Snowflake preferred)
- Working knowledge of AWS services and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform)
- Demonstrated ability to own features from design through deployment
- Minimum of 6 years of experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in financial services, billing, or another regulated industry
- Experience integrating with NetSuite or similar accounting/ERP APIs
- Familiarity with React and TypeScript
