Position Summary
DMD Financial Services is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance & Commissions Manager to oversee commission processing, financial reporting, banking operations, and day-to-day financial administration. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial records, timely commission payments, and effective management of financial data across multiple platforms.
The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting and analytical skills, be comfortable working with large data sets, and have experience managing financial information in a fast-paced environment. A working knowledge of the financial services industry is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile commission payments accurately and on schedule.
- Maintain financial records and ensure the integrity of accounting data.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports for leadership review.
- Manage cash flow tracking, account reconciliations, and general ledger activities.
- Monitor and reconcile information from carrier and vendor portals.
- Develop and maintain financial spreadsheets, reporting dashboards, and operational metrics.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Manage online banking functions, including transaction review, account administration, and payment processing.
- Ensure compliance with company financial controls, policies, and procedures.
- Work cross-functionally with operations, leadership, and external partners to resolve financial and commission-related issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or financial operations experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis.
- Proven ability to manage large volumes of financial and operational data with a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience using online banking platforms and financial management systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to pass a background check (including criminal history and where permitted by law, credit history), as this role involves access to company banking and financial accounts
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the insurance, financial services, or commission-based industries.
- Experience processing ACH transactions and loading NACHA files.
- Familiarity with carrier reporting systems and commission platforms.
- Experience building financial reports and dashboards for executive leadership.
- Understanding of licensing, contracting, and commission structures within financial services.

Work Location & Schedule
This is a 100% in-office position at our Woodlands, TX location. Remote and hybrid arrangements are not available for this role.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $70,000 – $85,000 per year, depending on experience
