Customer Service Representative:South Beloit, Illinois
Our customer in South Beloit, IL is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Customer Service Representative to join their team on 1st shift. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping projects organized, supporting project teams, and ensuring documentation and information are accurate and complete. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting project managers, coordinating project activities, and maintaining customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities of theCustomer Service Representative:
- Support Project Managers with daily administrative and project coordination activities.
- Process purchase orders, bills of materials, and project-related documentation.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate project records and files.
- Respond to customer inquiries and assist with project communications.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, quotations, and other project documents.
- Track project documentation and follow up on missing information.
- Coordinate information between customers, vendors, field personnel, and internal teams.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems.
- Review documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with project setup, scheduling, and ongoing project support.
Customer Service RepresentativeRequirements and Qualifications:
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while also working effectively as part of a team.
- Experience with project management, documentation, or similar processes is preferred.
- ERP software experience preferred.
- Experience with international shipping is a plus.
- Experience organizing large volumes of paperwork and electronic files.
- Strong attention to detail and document control skills.
- U.S. Citizenship or Lawful U.S. Permanent Residency required.
- Knowledge of mechanical fittingsis desiredbut not required.
Pay forCustomer Service Representative:Starting at $22/hour.
