Laundry Machine Operator
Automation Personnel Services is looking foraLaundry Machine Operatorfor a company based inCalhoun, GA.In this role, you will support daily plant production by sorting, washing, drying, folding, and handling textile products while safely operating equipment and maintaining quality, safety, and cleanliness standards.
Thisis full time temporary to hire.
Pay Rate
$18.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
1stshift-Monday to Thursday: 6:00am to 4:00pm or until end of shift (some Fridays)
Laundry Machine OperatorDutiesand Responsibilities
•Sort, wash, dry, fold, and stage towels, mats, and other textile products according to established procedures.
•Safely operate washers, dryers, and other plant equipment while maintaining an efficient production flow.
•Inspect finished products for cleanliness, quality, and damage, and properly handle items requiring rewash or repair.
•Follow all safety, PPE, chemical-handling, and equipment procedures, and promptly report hazards or equipment concerns.
•Maintain clean, organized, and safe production areas while meeting daily production and quality expectations.
Laundry Machine OperatorQualificationsand Requirements
•Previous commercial laundry, production, warehouse, or similar hands-on experience preferred.
•Ability to safely operate plant equipment and follow production, chemical-handling, quality, and safety procedures.
•Good communication and teamwork skills
•Reliable attendance, attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
•Ability to lift 50lbs.(in office assessment will be conducted)
