About the Role: Mid Star Lab Inc is looking for a skilled and motivated Lab Manager to lead our orthotic manufacturing operations in Tonganoxie, KS. Responsibilities:- Oversee daily orthotic lab operations, ensuring efficient workflow and production timelines
- Manage and mentor lab technicians and manufacturing staff to maintain high-quality standards
- Supervise the fabrication, modification, and finishing of custom orthotic devices
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety protocols, and quality control standards
- Manage inventory of materials, supplies, and equipment used in orthotic manufacturing
- Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to meet patient and client specifications
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement process improvements to optimize lab performance
Requirements:- Experience in orthotic manufacturing, prosthetics & orthotics (O&P), or a related lab environment
- Prior supervisory or lab management experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency in orthotic fabrication techniques, materials, and equipment
- Strong knowledge of quality control processes and regulatory compliance standards
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Effective communication and team leadership abilities
- ABC or BOC certification or relevant technical credentials a plus
