We are seeking a skilled Millwright to maintain and repair industrial manufacturing equipment at a shingle mill. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, following preventative maintenance routines, as well as welding and fabricating.
ResponsibilitiesThis position offers direct placement with an excellent benefits package, including good medical benefits and 401K with stock purchase options. The company is stable with a long-standing presence and a strong union affiliation, being part of Steelworkers 330 in Portland.
Work EnvironmentThe position operates on the 3rd shift from 6pm to 6am, with a rotating schedule of 3 days on, 4 days off, followed by 4 days on, 3 days off. The work environment is industrial manufacturing, which can be somewhat dirty and dusty due to the nature of the product. Heavy machinery is used, and certain areas can be loud. Safety equipment such as steel-toed boots, hard hats, safety glasses, and earplugs are required.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $78769.60 - $78769.60/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
