We are seeking an experienced Machinist / CNC Operator to set up and operate CNC machinery used to manufacture precision metal components. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of hands-on CNC machining experience, strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read engineering drawings and work instructions, and experience using precision measuring equipment.
Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Load and unload raw materials, fixtures, tooling, and completed parts.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders, and machining instructions.
Select and install appropriate cutting tools, inserts, fixtures, and tooling.
Make tool-offset and machine adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy.
Monitor machine operation, cutting conditions, tool wear, and production cycles.
Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.
Use precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
Identify dimensional or quality issues and make appropriate adjustments or notify the supervisor.
Deburr, clean, and finish machined components as required.
Maintain accurate production and quality records.
Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures.
Work effectively with supervisors, engineers, quality personnel, and other machinists/operators.
