Drywall Point-Up & Service Technician

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Drywall Point-Up & Service Technician to join our expanding, well-established company. This position is focused on drywall point-up, finishing, repairs, and service work for new construction projects.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has strong attention to detail, and is capable of producing high-quality finishes in a variety of residential and commercial environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed drywall point-up and service work on new construction projects
• Complete drywall patches and repairs
• Perform drywall finishing up to Level 5 finishes
• Identify and correct imperfections to ensure a smooth, high-quality finished product
• Perform light-gauge metal stud framing as needed
• Complete drywall service work in high-end single family homes, multifamily homes, and apartments
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Safely and properly use drywall finishing tools and equipment, including taping tools, stilts, ladders, and sanding equipment
• Complete work with a high level of attention to detail and quality
• Safely work from scaffolding and elevated work platforms to complete drywall finishing, repairs, and point-up work in various construction environments.

Requirements

• Previous drywall finishing, point-up, and service experience
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to produce Level 5 drywall finishes
• Experience with drywall patches and repairs
• Experience with light-gauge metal stud framing preferred
• Reliable transportation required
• Must have a truck equipped with necessary taping and finishing tools, including stilts, ladders, and sanding equipment
• Ability to work in high-end single family homes, multifamily homes, and apartments
• Safely work from scaffolding and elevated work platforms to complete drywall finishing, repairs, and point-up work in various construction environments.
• Bilingual skills are a plus

Residential drywall division provides drywall for custom homes, production homes, town homes, and multi-family housing.

Exterior Insulated Finish Systems (EIFS) and stucco division provides the latest water managed systems on both commercial and residential projects. Our applicators are manufacturer trained and certified.
All employees have completed 10hr OSHA training classes and we provide tool box talks to keep jobsite safety our highest priority.
