An ideal candidate should have experience leading migration of multiple LaTAm applications from sector-specific data lakes to an enterprise data foundation/platform, while coordinating stakeholders, managing delivery, and providing enough technical depth to understand Databricks, SQL, Python, Azure, and analytics-related challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end Data & Analytics programs/projects, ensuring successful delivery within agreed timelines, scope, and quality standards.
- Manage complex delivery programs involving multiple workstreams, teams, dependencies, and stakeholders.
- Drive project planning, execution, governance, status reporting, risk and issue management, dependency tracking, and delivery management.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership across Databricks, Python, SQL, and Azure data technologies.
- Work closely with engineering, data, analytics, business, and technology teams to design and deliver scalable data solutions.
- Lead and oversee large-scale data and application migration initiatives, including migration planning, data validation, dependencies, risks, and cutover activities.
- Analyze data and business requirements and translate them into effective data, analytics, and reporting solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, establish priorities, manage expectations, and ensure successful project outcomes.
- Identify and proactively resolve delivery risks, technical issues, dependencies, and project challenges.
- Support data-platform and data-lake modernization initiatives within the Azure/Databricks ecosystem.
- Work with CPG/Retail stakeholders and teams to address business and analytics requirements, with a focus on Revenue Growth Management (RGM) where applicable.
- Coordinate migration and delivery activities across LATAM applications, data sources, and stakeholders.
- Establish effective project governance, communication, and reporting mechanisms for senior stakeholders.
Requirements
- 10–15 years of overall experience in Program/Project Management, Data & Analytics, or related technology domains.
- Strong experience in Program/Project Management, preferably managing large accounts, complex delivery programs, and multiple workstreams.
- Proven experience leading end-to-end Data & Analytics projects, including planning, execution, delivery, dependency management, risk management, and stakeholder management.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks, including practical implementation and development experience rather than program-level exposure only.
- Strong hands-on Python and SQL skills.
- Strong experience with the Azure data and cloud ecosystem.
- Proven experience in data migration, preferably involving large-scale application migrations, data-lake migrations, or cloud data-platform migrations.
- Strong Data Analytics and Data Analysis skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions and insights.
- CPG/Retail domain experience is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of Revenue Growth Management (RGM) is a strong plus.
- Experience working with LATAM applications and data, particularly large-scale data/application migration initiatives involving LATAM, is highly relevant.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
