Behavior Technician (BT)

Join the Autism Team!

Autism Team is looking for compassionate, dependable, and energetic Behavior Technicians (BTs) to work one-on-one with children with autism. We currently have opportunities in the Millcreek/Salt Lake City area.

Pay: $18–$23 per hour, depending on experience and certification
Schedule: Part-time
Training: Provided previous ABA experience is a plus, but not required

What You’ll Do

• Work one-on-one with children with autism in home, school, and community settings
• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans under the supervision of a BCBA
• Help children develop communication, social, learning, and daily living skills
• Collect session data and complete required documentation
• Collaborate with your supervising BCBA and Autism Team
• Create a positive, encouraging, and fun environment for each child

Who We’re Looking For

• Kind, patient, fun, and dependable
• Comfortable working one-on-one with children
• Reliable and able to follow through with scheduled sessions
• Willing to learn and receive ongoing training and supervision
• Able to follow individualized treatment plans and professional guidelines
• Reliable transportation to client locations
• Able to complete required background screening

No previous ABA experience is required. Training is provided.

Experience working with children, individuals with autism, ABA, special education, psychology, education, child development, or a related field is a plus.

This is a great opportunity for college students and young professionals interested in psychology, education, special education, ABA, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, social work, or related fields who want meaningful hands-on experience.
