Role: Forklift Operator

Location: Hawthorne, CA

Compensation: $32/hour

Employment Type: 8 week contract, potential for full-time hire

Hours: 40-45 hours/week

Shift: Monday - Friday: 6:00 am – 2:30 am

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Receive and acknowledge incoming materials and packages
  • Record and transact receipts in ERP system
  • Transport materials to receiving inspection, stockroom, or designated locations
  • Operate forklifts and material handling equipment in accordance with safety procedures
  • Verify incoming materials against documentation (check for damage, correct part numbers, quantities, etc.)

Required Technical Qualifications:

  • Experience operating forklifts or other motorized material handling equipment
  • Experience with an ERP system
  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing, automotive, or commercial aircraft environments
  • Experience with scanning equipment (RF scanners, handheld scanners, etc.)
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
