Direct Care Mental Health Recovery Coach
Location: Asheville, NC
The Resident Support Coach duties include guiding and mentoring new residents through the orientation process and throughout their journey at CooperRiis. They build authentic, professional relationships and help residents restore a sense of engagement, productivity, and contribution.
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am – 5 pm
Pay:Starting at $19.50 per hour and increases based on experience

Responsibilities:
- Serves as primary welcoming of support for new residents
- Participates as a member for the integrative recovery team
- Supports the recovery culture, participates in activities, and meetings
- Provides relationship-oriented coaching and support to residents
- Provides support to the clinical team in crisis management
- Maintains knowledge of risk level and completion of safety documentation
- Reminds residents of scheduled medications and meetings
- Supports resident transportation as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience working with adults with mental health challenges
- At least 2 years’ experience in a community setting or mental health support setting
- Is 21 years of age or older with a clean/acceptable driving record to be on CooperRiis driving insurance
