Job Description

The General Production Worker supports the setup and installation of new production machinery and learns to operate equipment once it is fully operational. This role requires hands-on work with hand and power tools and a willingness to assist across multiple areas as production ramps up at a new facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation and setup of new production machines at the facility.
• Train to operate production machinery, including roll forming equipment, once systems are fully operational.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation and production activities.
• Perform general production and general labor tasks to support daily manufacturing operations.
• Measure materials accurately using tape measures and other basic measuring tools.
• Follow established procedures for machine operation to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Support construction-related tasks associated with preparing and maintaining the production area.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals as the site scales up operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety and productivity.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and report any issues or equipment concerns promptly.

Essential Skills

• Experience using hand tools in a production or construction environment.
• Experience using power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to perform general production and general labor tasks.
• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
• Willingness to assist in all areas of production as needed.
• Ability to learn and follow machine operating procedures.
• Comfort working in a manufacturing or roll forming environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Roll forming machine operating experience is a strong plus.
• Willingness to train on roll forming machines and other production equipment.
• Experience in machine operation or construction-related work is beneficial.
• Ability to adapt to a growing, evolving production environment.

Work Environment

This role is based at a new manufacturing location in Grandview, TX. The environment involves active production and machine operation, including roll forming equipment, hand tools, and power tools. Work is hands-on and may include standing for extended periods, moving materials, and working around industrial machinery in a non-climate-controlled setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grandview, TX.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
