We are hiring an experienced MIG Welder in Monroe, GA. This is a production welding position requiring strong MIG welding skills and the ability to read blueprints.
Day 1 ExpectationsMust be proficient in MIG welding
Must be able to read blueprints
Must be able to weld 16-gauge sheet metal
Experience welding material from 1/8" up to 1/2" thick
Comfortable working around 27 volts and 400+ wire speed
Must produce clean, consistent, and uniform welds
Candidates will complete a 1/4" T-plate MIG weld test with an approximately 8" weld. Welds will be evaluated for uniformity, consistency, and overall quality.
Day-to-Day WorkYou will spend the majority of your shift reading blueprints and MIG welding steel components together to build racks that are shipped to customers.
Work will range from 16-gauge sheet metal to 1/2" steel, depending on the product.
This is all MIG welding in a production environment.
