Operator (3 Openings)

Location: South San Jose, CA 95119

Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour

Job Type: 6-Month Contract (High potential for permanent FTE conversion after 3 months)

Shift Details & Role Breakdown

  • Role 1 (1st Shift Operator):
  • Schedule: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Full-Time | No Mandatory Overtime)
  • What You'll Do: Assemble components (ranging from small hand-sized items up to the size of a case of water), load and unload products into a furnace, and move items around on carts (lifting up to 25 lbs).
  • What We Look For: Someone who can think criticallynoticing if a part isn't fitting right and partnering with engineers to solve problems.
  • Roles 2 & 3 (Transition Shift Operators):
  • Schedule: Training starts on 1st shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM), moving to a permanent 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM shift once trained.
  • What You'll Do: Process products in a cleanroom environment, handle packaging, perform water-immersion defect testing, and transport products on carts between areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow standard work instructions and produce items within takt time.
  • Operate equipment, tools, and machinery safely and accurately.
  • Read print schematics, requests, and production orders.
  • Inspect, test, and package products per procedure to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Keep work areas and equipment clean and organized.
  • Participate in continuous improvement (MDI) initiatives.

Requirements

  • Experience: 0–3 years of related experience. Zero experience requiredentry-level candidates and eager learners are welcome!
  • Education: High school graduate or GED preferred.
  • Reliability: Must be able to commit fully to the designated shift schedule.
