Senior Construction Project Manager

A local established design -build firm located in Rockville; Maryland is looking for a full-time Construction Project Manager with a minimum of 10years’ experience in design and construction of commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• oversee commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout
• review design build drawings for coordination
• coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, superintendents, architects and owner's representatives.
• oversee RFIs, submittals, permits, inspections, and project documentation.
• monitor quality and safety, resolve project issues, and communicate progress to clients.
• oversee multiple projects as needed.
• Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress
• Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management
• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
• Professional architectural / engineering license is preferred
• minimum 10 years of construction management experience
• proficiency with construction management and scheduling software.
