Hands on Shop Position

Overview

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking person with previous shop experience to join our team in a fast-paced, hands-on work environment. This position is best suited for someone who is comfortable with physical work, operating shop equipment, working independently, and contributing as part of a team.

Full-time | $17.00 depending on experience

The Work

• Running shop tools and equipment, including drill presses, sanders, grinders, and more
• Assembling, preparing, and finishing parts and materials
• Measuring and checking your own work for accuracy
• Lifting, carrying, and moving materials throughout the shop
• Performing repetitive tasks while maintaining consistent quality
• Keeping tools, work areas, and the shop clean and organized
• Working independently on assigned tasks
• Working with the team on larger or more involved projects
• Helping with other shop and production work as needed

You should be comfortable spending most of the day on your feet and carrying, bending, reaching, and moving materials.

What We're Looking For

• Previous shop or similar hands-on work experience
• Experience safely using common shop tools and equipment
• Familiarity with OSHA workplace safety standards and safe shop practices
• Dependable, with reliable transportation and able to consistently show up on time and ready to work
• Detail-oriented and able to check your own work for accuracy and quality
• Able to follow instructions and complete tasks without constant supervision
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable with physical and repetitive work
• Willing to learn new equipment, processes, and methods
• Willing to contribute to routine shop cleanup and organization
• 18 years of age or older
• Able to successfully complete a background check

Previous experience in a shop, manufacturing, metalworking, fabrication, construction, or a similar hands-on work environment is required. Experience with metal fabrication, soldering, welding, or basic machine tools is a plus.

We provide PPE and training on our specific equipment, procedures, and safety requirements.

Compensation & Benefits

After successfully completing a 90-day probationary period, employees may be eligible for an incentive bonus of an additional $2.00–$4.00 per hour based on performance and proficiency
