As a Forklift Operator in Renwick, IA, you will safely move, load, unload, stage, and organize warehouse materials while using the WMS system to track inventory and material locations. This 5-month contract includes five openings and rotating shifts every two weeks: 1st shift, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM; 2nd shift, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM; and 3rd shift, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and complete daily inspections.
- Move, load, unload, and stage materials.
- Use the WMS system to update material locations and inventory.
- Perform inventory counts and read scales.
- Load and unload trucks during seed delivery and return seasons.
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
- Follow safety rules and emergency procedures.
- Perform basic forklift cleaning and maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to count inventory and read scales.
- Comfort operating forklifts in tight spaces.
- Good attention to detail and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and transportation.
- Ability to pass background and pre-employment screening.
- Safety shoes or boots required.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least one year of forklift experience.
- At least one year of warehouse experience.
- Forklift certification.
