Compensation: $56,000-75,000 based on experience.

Shift: 1st

Relcoation offered if currently located in the tri-state area.

Job Duties:

  • Collaborate with engineering and sales teams on project requirements and design goals.
  • Create 3D models and 2D drawings for mechanical components and assemblies.
  • Use Autodesk Inventor or similar CAD software to develop manufacturable designs.
  • Apply engineering and manufacturing principles throughout the design process.
  • Maintain drawings, BOMs, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Ensure designs meet company, quality, industry, and compliance standards.
  • Partner with manufacturing and cross-functional teams during development and production.
  • Provide technical support and resolve design, assembly, and production issues.
  • Investigate and correct BOM errors, deviations, and design concerns.
  • Support pilot builds and product or process changes.
  • Conduct design reviews to verify functionality, quality, and manufacturability.
  • Work with quality teams to address design-related issues.
  • Communicate technical concepts and design changes across departments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Approximately 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Designer or in a comparable mechanical design position.
  • Strong experience with 3D CAD modeling and 2D mechanical drawings.
  • Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor or comparable CAD software.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience creating and maintaining detailed technical and design documentation.
  • Microsoft Office.
