Continuous Improvement Leader

GHSP | Hart, MI

GHSP is seeking a Continuous Improvement Leader to help achieve plant objectives through the design and implementation of lean manufacturing systems. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will support the Director of Operations by leading improvement efforts, reducing waste, improving production efficiency, and educating employees in lean concepts and techniques.

• Develop and implement lean manufacturing systems and standards.

• Lead continuous improvement efforts, including kaizen events.

• Lead waste elimination efforts and improve production efficiencies.

• Develop and maintain the employee suggestion system and 5S program.

• Educate employees in lean concepts and techniques.

• Participate in customer and supplier benchmarking programs.

• A bachelor’s degree.

• Lean manufacturing education or certification.

• 7–10+ years of lean manufacturing experience, preferably in automotive.

• The ability to build trust, communicate courageously, and maintain a customer focus.

• A commitment to developing yourself and others through engagement and recognition.

• Strong execution and accountability, innovative thinking, and strategic vision.

• The ability to manage change and conflict.
