The Porter with Route position requires the qualified person be able to work effectively and must be responsible and self-sufficient even when administration is not present as they are responsible for representing Universal Maintenance

RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE

1. Arrive on time with great attitude and ready to work.
2. TRASH CANS - Start by changing the bags of the trash cans, cleaning the lids and the floor around the trash cans for possible spills. Trash cans must remain clean and free of trash at all times during your working hours.

3. LANDSCAPE – Keep garden areas clean and free of garbage, cigarette butts and other materials.

4. DUST AND DEWEBBING – Clean window frames of dust and cobwebs.

5. You must keep the garbage enclosure clean and free of garbage, spills, or any other materials.

6. Keep parking lot clean and free of trash.

7. Use safety cones when necessary to prevent a slip in any area of the shopping center.

8. Clean liquid spills in any area of the shopping center to avoid accidents.

9. ONCE TRAINED BY YOUR SUPERVISOR: Remove graffiti using your personal protective equipment (PPE)

10. Keep all shopping center signs clean (Supervisor will indicate which signs apply)

11. In some occasions you may be required to use a mop, cleaning supplies for the restrooms, vacuum or blow using a gas or electric blower, clean or do some other tasks not indicated previously.

12. Observe and report problems promptly.

REQUIRMENTS

• In most cases you are required to carry your work material in your car. This includes garbage bags, picker, broom, blower, gloves, or other items that allow you to do this job
• You will need to drive from one property to another according to the assigned accounts
• It is the employee’s responsibility to turn in their mileage sheet every Monday in order to receive milage reimbursement
• Ability to communicate clearly with the Supervisor or Account Manager
• Maintain good personal appearance, punctuality, and excellent work ethic
• Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 35 lbs
• Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time

El puesto de Portero con Ruta requiere que la persona seleccionada pueda trabajar de manera efectiva y sea responsable y autosuficiente, incluso cuando la administracin no est presente, ya que ser responsable de representar a Universal Maintenance.

RESPONSABILIDADES INCLUYEN:

1. Llegar puntualmente, con buena actitud y listo(a) para trabajar.
2. BOTES DE BASURA: Comenzar cambiando las bolsas de los botes de basura, limpiando las tapas y el piso alrededor de los botes para eliminar cualquier derrame. Los botes de basura deben mantenerse limpios y libres de basura en todo momento durante las horas de trabajo.
3. REAS VERDES: Mantener las reas de jardines limpias y libres de basura, colillas de cigarro y otros materiales.
4. POLVO Y TELARAAS: Limpiar el polvo y las telaraas de los marcos de las ventanas.
5. Mantener el rea de los contenedores de basura limpia y libre de basura, derrames o cualquier otro material.
6. Mantener el estacionamiento limpio y libre de basura.
7. Utilizar conos de seguridad cuando sea necesario para prevenir resbalones o accidentes en cualquier rea del centro comercial.
8. Limpiar los derrames de lquidos en cualquier rea del centro comercial para evitar accidentes.
9. UNA VEZ CAPACITADO(A) POR SU SUPERVISOR: Remover grafiti utilizando el equipo de proteccin personal (EPP).
10. Mantener limpios todos los letreros del centro comercial. (El supervisor indicar cules letreros corresponden.)
11. En algunas ocasiones, se le podr requerir utilizar un trapeador, productos de limpieza para los baos, una aspiradora o un soplador de gas o elctrico, as como realizar otras tareas que no se hayan indicado previamente.
12. Observar y reportar cualquier problema de manera oportuna.

REQUISITOS:

• En la mayora de los casos, deber transportar los materiales de trabajo en su vehculo. Esto incluye bolsas de basura, recogedor, escoba, soplador, guantes u otros artculos necesarios para realizar el trabajo.
• Deber conducir de una propiedad a otra de acuerdo con las cuentas asignadas.
• Es responsabilidad del empleado entregar su hoja de millaje todos los lunes para recibir el reembolso correspondiente por las millas recorridas.
• Capacidad para comunicarse claramente con el Supervisor o Gerente de Cuenta.
• Mantener una buena presentacin personal, puntualidad y excelente tica de trabajo.
• Debe poder levantar, empujar o jalar hasta 35 libras.
• Debe poder permanecer de pie o caminar periodos de tiempos largos
