We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. The Operator will perform a variety of production and processing tasks, operate manufacturing equipment, inspect parts for quality, and follow established work instructions and safety procedures. This position is well suited for someone with manufacturing experience who is comfortable working with small parts and performing repetitive, detail-focused work.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Operate production machinery and equipment according to established procedures and work instructions.
  • Set up and monitor equipment to ensure products are manufactured accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform production operations involving small parts and components.
  • Clean, deburr, grind, mark, package, and prepare parts as required.
  • Inspect parts visually and with basic measuring equipment to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Read and follow manufacturing plans, work orders, drawings, and written/verbal instructions.
  • Record production information and complete required manufacturing documentation.
  • Perform basic measurements using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
  • Identify and report quality issues, equipment problems, or production concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
  • Follow Lean Manufacturing/5S or 6S practices.
  • Meet production schedules, quality standards, and attendance requirements.
  • Work effectively with supervisors and other production employees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED preferred.
  • Manufacturing or production experience preferred; entry-level candidates with a strong work history may be considered.
  • Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to read and understand written work instructions.
  • Basic computer/data-entry skills.
  • Ability to use or learn precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable attendance and ability to meet production deadlines.
  • Ability to work overtime when required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand movements.
  • Ability to handle small parts and production materials.
  • Ability to lift and move materials as required by the position.
  • Must be able to wear required PPE.

1st and 2nd shift available
