Senior Structural Engineering Designer

This role is paid on an hourly basis with a range of $36-$48 and is eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable laws. The expected approximate annualized compensation range is $75,000–$100,000.

Summary of the Role

As a SeniorStructuralEngineering Designer,supporting our Architecture and Engineering business unit, you will be responsible for designing structural engineering projects under the guidance of Structural Engineers/Project Managers. Projects will be located throughout the U.S. and will include: steel, concrete, pre-stressed concrete, timber and masonry. As part of a multi-disciplined firm, you will be coordinating with Site/Civil Engineers, MEP Engineers, Architects, and Construction Project Managers. You will be responsible for the production of structural engineering construction documents while adhering to client requirements, code requirements and site adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design tasks and create structural calculation reports under the direction of senior staff.
• Conduct site feasibility research and site visit investigations as well as generate reports/recommendations based on findings.
