The Opportunity
You will serve as a skilled Electrician driving the success of diverse residential, commercial, and government projects across Western North Carolina. You will have the autonomy to work independently while benefiting from a supportive, faith-based team culture and a stable schedule.

How You Will Make an Impact
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, and schematics to execute accurate field wiring and equipment setups.
- Operate specialized equipment, including bucket trucks, lifts, and lulls, while executing daily job site tasks.
- Conduct safety inspections and maintain clean work areas to eliminate trip hazards and ensure a safe environment.
- Mentor and train apprentices on technical techniques and safety protocols to support team development.
- Perform installations efficiently using manual, electrical, and battery-operated hand tools to meet tight deadlines.
- Communicate site progress and operational issues directly to project managers and foremen to maintain workflow.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 4 to 5 years of experience performing electrical installation and repair work.
- Valid City of Asheville Journeyman's card or NC State Limited License or above.
- Current certifications in OSHA, NFPA70E, CPR, and lift/lull/bucket truck operation.
- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints and apply trade-specific mathematics accurately.
- Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, climb ladders up to 28 feet, and work in varied weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license, personal hand/battery tools, and reliable transportation to job sites.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- 5 years of related electrical trade experience across commercial and government projects.
- Completion of a formal Trade Program or Technical Certification program.
- Prior experience mentoring apprentices in safety procedures and proper installation practices.

- Bi-weekly pay cycle with hourly rate ranging from $27 to $36 per hour based on experience.
