Material Handler Support – 2–3 Month Project

Pay: $18.00/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Duration: 2-month project, with the possibility of extending up to 3 months

We are looking for a Material Handler Support team member to help with daily shipping, receiving, and inventory activities. This is a hands-on role that also requires comfort using a computer and entering information into a system.

Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming materials and check shipments for accuracy
  • Prepare and process outgoing shipments
  • Check, track, and update inventory in the computer system
  • Enter shipping and material information accurately
  • Print shipping labels and required paperwork
  • Organize and move materials as needed
  • Verify quantities and make sure materials are properly accounted for
  • Communicate with the team regarding incoming and outgoing materials
  • Keep the work area organized and follow workplace safety procedures

Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience preferred
  • Comfortable using computers and learning inventory systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to stay organized while handling multiple tasks
  • Reliable and able to work Monday–Friday
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
