Do you enjoy preparing meals and take pride in helping others? Strawberry Point Lutheran Home Community is looking for a Dietary Cook to join our senior living community. In this role, you'll help prepare appealing, nutritious meals while supporting the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.

Pay: $15.00 per hour

• 56 hours per bi-weekly pay period

• Primary shifts: 5:30 AM–1:30 PM

• One scheduled shift: 11:30 AM–7:30 PM

• Every other weekend

• Every other holiday

Previous cooking or dietary experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

• Prepare meals and other food items based on established menus.

• Follow individual dietary requirements and food-related restrictions.

• Make sure meals are ready and served according to the scheduled meal times.

• Help maintain consistent food quality, presentation, and portion standards.

• Keep food preparation areas, equipment, and kitchen workspaces clean and orderly.

• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.

• Work closely with members of the dietary team to help meet residents' nutritional needs.

• Contribute to a positive dining experience for the people we serve.
