Robert Half is currently recruiting for a Master Planning Manager to lead planning activities that keep operations running efficiently in Greenville, Tennessee. This position focuses on aligning production capacity, inventory flow, and scheduling priorities to support dependable execution across the business. The ideal candidate brings strong operational judgment, analytical skill, and the ability to improve planning processes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Direct master planning activities to balance demand, capacity, and operational priorities across the facility

• Build and maintain production and resource schedules that support service targets and efficient workflow

• Partner with operations, logistics, and warehouse teams to coordinate material movement and optimize inventory availability

• Review capacity constraints and recommend adjustments to staffing, scheduling, or output plans to maintain performance

• Use SAP and Microsoft Excel to analyze planning data, track key metrics, and support informed decision-making

• Establish and refine departmental standard operating procedures to improve consistency, accuracy, and execution

• Monitor operational performance and resolve planning issues that may affect delivery timelines or internal service levels

• Lead continuous improvement efforts focused on scheduling effectiveness, process reliability, and overall operational efficiency

• At least 3 years of experience in operations, planning, logistics, or a related supply chain environment
• Demonstrated background in operations management, scheduling, and capacity planning
• Working knowledge of warehouse processes and material flow coordination
• Experience using SAP for planning, reporting, or operational support activities
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to organize, analyze, and interpret data
• Ability to develop, document, and enforce departmental standard operating procedures
• Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills in a fast-moving operational setting
