What you’ll do
- Set up and run CNC and manual equipment to manufacture parts that meet print requirements.
- Read and apply blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to define process steps.
- Oversee machining cycles, inspect features, and adjust offsets or parameters to maintain quality.
- Complete routine maintenance to keep machines operating efficiently.
- Collaborate with peers to diagnose issues and refine processes.
- Keep your area organized and safe while following shop protocols.
- Document setups, production notes, and inspection results accurately.
What you need to succeed
- High school diploma or equivalent; machining-related education a plus.
- Hands-on background as a CNC or manual machinist.
- Deep familiarity with machining tools, methods, and sequencing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical prints and documentation.
- Competence with calipers, micrometers, and other precision gauges.
- Strong troubleshooting ability and attention to detail.
